According to Lalit Modi, commissioner of the Indian Premier League, “the third edition of the IPL is going 3D” and that the IPL will be the first sporting body in the world to go 3D. In another first, the IPL has already announced that this year, matches would be available in Youtube in streaming media format.

2009 IPL South Africa

South Africa vs England regarding host for IPL. The winner is South Africa due to great weather. (Let’s hope Duckworth Lewis will stay at home) Guess whose coming to town Shah Rukh Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Preity Zinta… Bollywood Cricket There will be a street carnival on 16 April 2009 with about 200 cricket players parading.IPL opening match will be in Cape Town starting on April 18. Matches will be broadcasted on Supersport and will start at around 12h30. Tickets apparently but to be confirmed can be bought at computicket and at the cricket grounds it will be very cheap from R20 to R80. Tickets will go on sale soon around the 3 April for Newlands and 15 April for Wanderers. To download full schedule IPL 2009 Got some info from Wanderers regarding tickets. They said they will be on sale at computicket as well.

    I arrive South Africa on Saturday the 23rd may late and the finals are on 24th may at Wanderers. Kindly advise which are the best seats. I prefer the pavilion on the V ( between midon and mid off)
